Privacy notice

This notice explains what the AI Readiness diagnostic collects about you, why, who we share it with, how long we keep it, and the choices you have. It applies to this site and the assessments, reports and dashboards it provides. It is written to be read, not to be skimmed past; if anything is unclear, email hello@eqwitty.capital.

Who is responsible for your data

Eqwitty (www.eqwitty.capital) is the organization responsible for the personal data collected through this site. You can reach us at hello@eqwitty.capital.

What we collect

  • Account and registration details. Your email address, name, company, country, industry, organization size and role. You provide these when you sign in and register for the diagnostic.
  • Your answers. Every response you give in the diagnostic, including any free-text answers describing your goals, blockers or budget, and the scores computed from them.
  • Payment information. When you unlock a report (CA$19.80), payment is processed by Stripe. We receive confirmation of payment and a transaction reference; we never see or store your card number.
  • Technical data. A session cookie that keeps you signed in, and standard server logs (IP address, browser type, pages requested, timestamps) used for security and troubleshooting.
  • Usage analytics. Where enabled, we use a cookieless, privacy-focused analytics service that records page views and a small number of product events (such as starting or completing the diagnostic) without identifying you or tracking you across other sites.

Why we use it

  • To run the diagnostic, compute your score and produce your results, plan and report.
  • To sign you in securely and let you return to your saved assessments.
  • To personalize your 90-day plan. Your answers, including free text, may be sent to an AI model provider (OpenAI or Microsoft Azure OpenAI) to tailor the stage template to your situation. We use providers whose terms prohibit using our data to train their models. If no provider is configured, the standard template is used instead.
  • To build peer benchmarks. Scores are aggregated by industry, organization size and country into anonymized statistics. A benchmark is only shown when the cohort is large enough that no individual organization can be identified.
  • To send transactional email: sign-in codes, invitations and payment receipts.
  • To improve the questions, scoring and recommendations over time.
  • To offer advisory support after your result, if you ask for it. We do not add you to marketing lists without your consent.

Where data-protection law requires a legal basis, we rely on the performance of our agreement with you (running the diagnostic you asked for), our legitimate interests in securing and improving the service, and your consent where we ask for it.

Who we share it with

We do not sell your personal data and we do not share identifiable results with anyone outside your organization. We share data only with:

  • Service providers that host and operate the service on our behalf: cloud hosting and databases (Microsoft Azure), email delivery, payment processing (Stripe), AI model providers for plan personalization, and analytics. Each is bound by contract to use the data only to provide their service to us.
  • Authorities where the law requires it, or to protect the rights, safety or property of Eqwitty, our users or others.

Anonymized, aggregated benchmarks may be published or shared with other users. They never contain names, companies, individual answers or anything that identifies you.

Where it is stored

The service is hosted on Microsoft Azure. Depending on where you are, your data may be stored or processed in a country other than your own, including the United States and Canada. Where required, we rely on recognized safeguards such as standard contractual clauses with our providers.

How long we keep it

  • Your account, assessments and reports: until you ask us to delete them, or 24 months after your last activity.
  • Payment records: as long as tax and accounting law requires.
  • Server logs: up to 90 days.
  • Aggregated benchmark statistics: indefinitely, because they contain no personal data.

How we protect it

Connections to the site are encrypted. Sign-in uses one-time codes sent to your email rather than passwords. Scores are computed and stored on the server, session cookies are not readable by scripts, and access to production systems is limited to the people who operate the service. No system is perfectly secure; if we learn of a breach affecting your data we will notify you as the law requires.

Your choices and rights

  • Access and export. Ask for a copy of the data we hold about you.
  • Correction. Ask us to fix inaccurate details.
  • Deletion. Ask us to delete your account and assessments. Anonymized statistics already aggregated cannot be reversed.
  • Objection and restriction. Object to particular uses, such as plan personalization by an AI provider, and we will use the standard template instead.
  • Withdraw consent at any time where we rely on it.
  • Complain to your local data-protection authority if you believe we have not handled your data properly.

To exercise any of these, email hello@eqwitty.capital from the address on your account. We respond within 30 days.

Cookies

We use one strictly necessary cookie to keep you signed in. Your browser's local storage holds in-progress answers so a refresh does not lose your place. We do not use advertising cookies or cross-site tracking. If analytics is enabled it runs without cookies.

Children

The service is for organizations and their staff and is not directed at anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect data from children.

Changes to this notice

We will update this page when our practices change and revise the date at the top. For significant changes we will tell registered users by email.
